Eligibility and Intended Use

BabySteps is intended only for parents and legal guardians of children aged 0 to 3 years. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to create accounts or use the App.

You may use BabySteps only for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not use the App for any business, promotional, or profit-making activity without written permission.

Ownership and Intellectual Property

All content in the BabySteps app—including but not limited to articles, milestones, tips, and illustrations—is created by the BabySteps team and is protected under intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reuse, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our permission.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App or its systems.
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or systems.
  • Use the App in any manner that could harm or disrupt BabySteps, its users, or its infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban your account if you violate these terms or engage in activity we believe is abusive, unlawful, or harmful.

Payments

Some features of BabySteps may require in-app purchases (IAP) through the App Store or Google Play Store. All purchases are processed securely through the relevant app platform. We do not directly handle or store your payment information.

Medical Disclaimer

BabySteps provides general parenting guidance, developmental milestones, and expert-backed advice. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or professional health advice. Always consult your pediatrician or qualified health provider with any questions you may have about a child’s development, health, or well-being.

We do not accept any responsibility or liability for any decisions or actions taken by you based on information provided by the app.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BabySteps, and affiliated parties shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including data loss, service interruptions, or any other losses arising out of your use (or inability to use) the App.

All use of the App is at your own risk.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason we deem appropriate.

Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the “Last Updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the App after such updates means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
